Win-Win Solutions on 1-Day Rule

Today the Justice of the Peace Association presented to Governor Charlie Baker’s office a white paper outlining win-win solutions to the problems associated with Massachusetts’ One-Day Solemnizer rule. Read the white paper here.

Coalition Launches New Website

The Coalition to End Child Marriage launched a new website last month to formalize its collaborative activities. JPus is a founding member of the coalition. Its JPs and notary members are strongly opposed to officiating a marriage involving minor children. More information about JPus’ advocacy in this area is available here.
