If you find yourself locked-out of the JPus website there is no need to worry. This is a temporary security measure to keep our information safe from would-be hackers. Wait one hour and you should be able to login again!
Why Was I Locked Out?
If you’ve tried to login too many times with the wrong username or password you will get temporarily locked out. The website blocks further attempts after six unsuccessful tries. This is for security reasons. The e-mail address/account that exceeded the limit is placed on a temporary lock out. The temporary lock out lasts for approximately one hour. During this period the locked out email address cannot be used to login, and password recovery is not available.
Logging In
Before trying to log in again, confirm that you are using the correct email address and password associated with your JPus member account. This is especially important to do when using saved login credentials since passwords stored in web browsers can become outdated or corrupted overtime.
Password Recovery
If you are still not able to login after confirming that you have the correct credentials, you will have to reset your password. In addition, you might need to reset your password if your login credentials have been compromised. For security’s sake, it is always good to change your password occasionally. Easily reset your password by clicking the ‘Forgot Password’ link located on the login screen. If you don’t receive an email to reset your password, check your spam. And, please follow the instructions to make sure that admin@JPus.org is on your safe sender list, located here.
