I appreciate that hopefully, you will be able to officiate at my and John’s wedding (Handfasting) in Enfield NH at Bicknell Brook on October 23, 2021. We have totally changed the date due to the difficulty of getting lodging for an earlier date. Also, we don’t have the conflict of the military adult possibly not being able to attend. We hope you will be able to officiate at our wedding. It is an outdoor setting, and will be held under a canopy if the weather decides not to cooperate. The Handfasting is simple, and less than 1/2 hour. It is only our adult children and 1 teen who will be present.
We look forward to working with you.
Unfortunately, your Inn was NOT available for any alternate dates. We will certainly pay for your travel to Enfield, NH.

p.s.: Thank-you again. We hope you are available. If you cannot travel to us, I guess we would have to travel to you. If this is the case:
Do you have a private area where our ceremony could be held if you cannot travel to us? We are looking at an 11am ceremony lasting less than 1/2 hour.

Dear JP Sheila Oranch,
We are planning a Handfasting Ceremony for Oct 16, 2021, or October 23, 2021. We had hoped for a location at Bicknell Brook in Enfield, but have trouble getting a JP to travel to the place we chose for the ceremony. It is a very brief & private ceremony, with 3 of our adult children, (& 2 possible teen participants) as witnesses. The alternate dates are due to a military commitment (drill) for 1 adult child. You have a lovely place. 1.Do you do ceremonies there at the Inn? 2.And if so, what is the cost? You have a lovely garden area, and in the Fall, I imagine the grounds are lovely. We can travel to you, if you cannot come to us.
3. If we would have our ceremony there, what is the cost of an overnight stay…just for us, (not the adult children…)
