My name is Zachary Doenmez and I am a resident of Dublin. My sister is getting married at the end of June and her wedding had to be postponed because of Covid-19. It’s been a very disappointing and difficult time for her, so we decided to still do go ahead with a small ceremony with just family (who are already sheltering-in-place together) and then post-pone the larger gathering and full ceremony until post-covid. I volunteered to officiate the small family ceremony in late June, and am looking into registering as a Justice of the Peace. I realize this is last-minute, and may not be enough time for the application process to be completed, but it’s my sister’s wedding, and I want to at least give it a try. I obviously would have liked to had more time to do this, but covid has really thrown everything out of whack, so I’m trying to do the best I can.

One issue I’ve encountered is finding other JP’s to sign my application. Is there any chance you would be willing to support my application? I would be happy to get on the phone so you can meet and learn more about me. I grew up in Dublin, where I went to high school. Now I work in the United States Senate.
