My partner, Andrew, and I are scheduled to be married in a small family ceremony in our home in Holyoke on the afternoon/evening of October 13th. We have been working with Justice Maryann DeLoria to craft a customized contemporary ceremony for us. We got news this afternoon that Justice Maryann has had a medical emergency landing her in the hospital for an unknown period of time and she will not be able to perform our ceremony. We are left to find our own replacement, with only two and a half weeks. Naturally, I’m in a slight panic.

We were so excited to be sharing our day with Maryann because she put so much care into incorporating things that were unique and important to us. The audience is just 7: Andrew’s mother Becky, father Steve, brother Josh and Josh’s partner Kim. My parents Glenn and Karen and my sister Heather are flying up from Charlotte, NC for the event.

We have chosen this date very intentionally. We are having our wedding reception next year on our one year anniversary (10/13/19) which we have already booked venues for.

Please let me know if you are available on the 13th and when we could speak by phone about the ceremony we have in mind.
