My girlfriend and I would like to get our license and get married on the same day in Stamford. Is this possible or do we need to get the license and wait a certain amount of time? If so, we would probably get the license oct 11 then would like a small ceremony (my gf and I and a close friend) at fort Stamford park or the arboretum (some place woodsy). My girlfriend and I are planning to apply for our marriage license and get married the same day. I know with Darien you can do both same day. However we are residents of Stamford and would like to have a small marriage ceremony (my gf, myself and a close friend) either at fort Stamford state park or Barrett arboretum ( some place woodsy). Greetings!
We – Charlie Wiseman and myself – are looking for a JP to come by our home in Lyndeborough, NH to officiate our wedding. We were looking for someone to do the standard “I do” vows. I think we might say a little something to each other. A quickie wedding. 🙂 It will just be the two of us and our dog, Bonzo.

We have our marriage certificate from the Town of Wilton ready to go. We were hoping to do it this coming weekend, between 10/6 and 10/8, but are totally flexible. Whenever you might have 10 minutes any weekend this October to say a few words and do the paperwork will work for us.
